You can feel the racket holding something back. Nobody neutral will tell you which one to buy next.
You have played for a year or so, once or twice a week, on a racket you borrowed or bought cheaply. Something is off — the ball comes off it dead, or your elbow speaks up the morning after — and you cannot tell whether it is the racket or you.
Every shop says every racket is excellent. Reviews are sponsored, or written by players far better than you. Friends give confident, contradictory advice. And carbon 12K, EVA soft, balance 265 mm mean nothing to anybody who has not been told what they do.
So you choose the way everyone chooses: by brand, by colour, by which racket looks like the one a professional uses. Then you spend €250 and find out in three months whether you were lucky.
Unlike shop filters and review sites, we recommend from the whole catalogue rather than from what we happen to sell.
What this tool will do
Five questions about how you actually play
How long and how often you play, how old you are, whether anything hurts, and what goes wrong when a point goes wrong. We never ask you to describe your own playing style — that is derived from your answers, because players misjudge it.
A lesson before a single racket
An interactive stage teaches you what shape, balance, weight, core hardness, face material and sweet spot do, so you arrive at the results able to read them.
A shortlist of three to five rackets, each with its reason
Every racket carries a verdict sentence explaining why it fits you, and a criteria match naming what it gets wrong as well as what it gets right — a count of the criteria met, with the unmet ones named. Never a percentage: that would be a measurement nobody has taken.
Every merchant that will ship to you
Ordered by price plus shipping, cross-border orders flagged so that import charges do not ambush you. We never estimate a duty figure, and we never hide a cheaper seller.
A methodology you can read and disagree with
The rules mapping your answers to playing characteristics are published and versioned, because a method nobody can inspect is just another opinion.
Where this stands today
The tool is being built. This page exists first so that the merchants we will link to can see a real site at a real address.
The methodology is the founder's own, published as v0.1, and no coach has co-signed it yet. When one does, this page will say so and name them.
Nobody — not manufacturers, not coaches, not us — knows which racket is objectively best for a given player. The decision stays yours. This narrows the search and explains the trade-offs behind what is left.
