Starting padel after fifty is a body-size and experience question, not a skill label. The methodology derives a level ceiling from how long someone has played and how often — a new player is not shown advanced rackets even when they are fit in other ways.

This page fixes those answers for a player in their fifties who has been playing under six months, states the rules that follow, and shows the shortlist the engine returns from the catalogue today.

Rules this page applies

These are the methodology rules for the fixed answers below — not a diagnosis, and not a promise that every listed racket will suit you.

Fixed answers

  • Age: 55
  • Playing time: under six months
  • Frequency: one to two times a week
  • Arm pain: no
  • Main issues: nothing specific — starting out

Level ceiling

For under six months playing one to two times a week, rackets above improver level are excluded unless relaxing the ceiling is needed to reach three survivors.

Does it fit you?

One racket in the catalogue is rarely the answer on its own. In about five minutes there are two or three questions that narrow the whole catalogue to the rackets that actually fit you — and explain why.
