Returning from an arm injury is not the same as playing through regular pain. The methodology treats it as a separate answer with stricter exclusions — diamond shapes and heavier rackets are ruled out before scoring begins.

This page applies those returning-arm rules to the catalogue on one fixed set of answers. The shortlist is what the engine returns under the current methodology, not medical advice about when to play again.

These are the methodology rules for the fixed answers below — not a diagnosis, and not a promise that every listed racket will suit you.

Fixed answers

  • Age: 35
  • Playing time: six to twenty-four months
  • Frequency: one to two times a week
  • Arm pain: returning from injury
  • Main issues: nothing specific — starting out

Arm exclusion (hard filter)

Rackets must be safe for a returning arm. Any racket that fails this rule is removed before scoring — it cannot be rescued by a high power or control score.

Level ceiling

For six to twenty-four months playing one to two times a week, rackets above intermediate level are excluded unless relaxing the ceiling is needed to reach three survivors.

About arm pain

We are not qualified to diagnose or treat injuries. Rackets that would aggravate arm pain have been removed from this shortlist. If pain persists, speak to a physiotherapist.
